Honea Path – Bobbie Sue Campbell Posey, 80, widow of Carlton Leon Posey, of 205-A Sirrine Street, died Saturday October 6, 2012 at AnMed Health Center. 

Ware Shoals- Ruby Burgess Cox, 89, widow of William Carl Cox, of 3850 Poplar Springs Rd., died Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Hosanna Health and Rehab in Piedmont.

Honea Path – Charles Alton Boland, 73, of Honea Path, husband of Ernestine Ashley Boland died early Tuesday morning, October 2, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House.

Honea Path – Guy Ellis Coleman, 43, of 360 E. Hampton Ave. Apt. #1, died Thursday September 27, 2012 at Oakmont East in Greenville.

Jeffrey Micheal “Hawk” Holley

Ware Shoals      Jeffrey Micheal “Hawk” Holley, 47 of 17 Dairy St. died Monday   He was born in Greenwood County, a son of Deborah Cooper Holley and the late Randy Holley. He was a brick mason.

Surviving are:  his mother of the home, one son, Micheal Holley, one daughter, Miranda Holley, one brother, Joey Holley, one sister, Heather Fields all of Ware Shoals and two grandchildren, Hannah Shipley and Micheal Holley, Jr.

Also surviving are five aunts:  Phyllis Rogers and husband Scott, Barbara Mattison and husband Dixie, Becky Nalley and husband Charles, Billee Cooper and Karla Barbrey and husband David: one uncle Mike Cooper and wife, Dong and a cousin, Katie Hayden and husband, Ben.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 pm at Ware Shoals Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Stonell officiating .  The family will be at the home. Parker-White Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com.

Belton – Mrs. Frances Estelle Vermillion Ambrose, 81, widow of Carl Dudley Ambrose, of 125 Baker Road, died Monday, October 1, 2012 National Health Care of Anderson.

Due West – Mallie Fleming Brock, 90, a resident of The Maples in Honea Path, formerly of Due West, died on Sunday September 30, 2012 at the Rainey Upstate Hospice. She was the widow of Carlton Brock.

Ware Shoals – Joann Rochester Chapman, 84, of 11200 Indian Mound Road, wife of Franklin M. Chapman died September 29, 2012 at Hospice of the Piedmont in Greenwood. She was twice married, first to the late James B. Sizemore.

Honea Path – Albert “Ab” Edward Gilstrap, 89, of 107 Arkansas Street, widower of Julia “Judy” Crocker Gilstrap, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. He was twice married first to the late Paralee “Pat” Bell Gilstrap.
