Honea Path – Margie Cardelia Lay Phillips, 88, widow of Jessie James Phillips, of 17877 Hwy 76 West, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at her home.

Honea Path – Carolyn Leigh McCullough Williams-Fields, 43, wife of Cecil Junior Fields, of 213 Todd Rd, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House.

Hodges – James Daniel Reid, 76, of 2012 Nation Road, husband of Rachel Magaha Reid, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at his home.

Ware Shoals – Willie McCurry Attaway Hall, 98, of 7413 Hwy. 25, widow of John Hall died Friday at NHC of Clinton.

Born in Anderson county, she was a daughter of  the late John Llewellyn McCurry and Sallie Hulsey McCurry. She was a member of West Main Street Church Of God, formerly owned Four Oaks Restaurant and was retired from Riegel Textile Corporation. She was twice married, first to the late Edward C. Attaway.

Surviving are one son; Mike M. Attaway of Manning, one daughter; Stella Marie Reeder of Laurens, 9 grandchildren and  several greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by a son: Ray Attaway and daughter: Sally Nelson and granddaughtrer: Connie Attaway , two brothers and three sisters. She was the last member of her immediate family.

Graveside services will be 4 PM Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. John Tyson. Memorials may be made to West Main Street Church of God, 39 West Main St., Ware Shoals, SC 29692 or to a charity of ones choice.  The family is at their respective homes.
