Brassie Hawkins

Donalds – Braskas “Brassie” Cleveland Hawkins, 93, widower of Frances Davis Hawkins, of 5999 Hwy 184 East, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013.

Born in Walker County, GA, he was the son of Robert Cleveland and Minnie Hobbs Hawkins. He was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church and retired from 3M.

Surviving are: a daughter, Lona Hudson and husband Dean of Donalds, three grandchildren, Cheryl Cade, Kevin Scott Hudson, and Robin Neil Hudson, and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Randall Braskas Hawkins.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Moody officiating.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Pruitt Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com. Parker-White-Pruitt Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
