Ware Shoals – Glenn Daryl O’Dell, 52, of 468 Hembree Rd, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Greer – Dorothy Latimer Hill, 99, widow of John A. Hill, died at the Cottages at Brushy Creek in Greer on March 19, 2013.

Belton – Carl Brown Setterlind, Jr., 78, husband of Linda Evans Setterlind, of 437 Forest Lane, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.

Honea Path – Mrs. Gladys Fowler Bohannon, 69, of 208 Hook Road, wife of Clarence Daniel Bohannon, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at her home.

Leslie “Les” Ricketts, Jr.

Honea Path – Leslie Henry “Les” Ricketts, Jr., 65 husband of Cathy Walker Ricketts of 1423 Legion Lake Road died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at his home.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Leslie Henry Ricketts, Sr. and Amanda Louise Ashley Ricketts. He was retired from Duke Power Company, was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and Centre Lodge #37 A.F.M. He served in the Army Reserves for 26 years and was co-owner of Playhouse Daycare.

Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons; Leslie H. Ricketts III of Honea Path and Mark Abercrombie of Donalds; three daughters, Angie Ricketts Gambrell, Amanda Ricketts McClain and Prissy Poole Vaughan all of Honea Path; one brother, Walter Bradley “W.B.” Ricketts of Honea Path; two sisters, Peggy Jo Bailey of Cummings Ga., and Sarah McClain of Newnan Ga., and eleven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell and Rev. Brad Haynes officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
