Lou Alice Worley

Donalds – Lou Alice Chadwick Worley, 79, wife of Perry Workman Worley, of 7304 Highway 184 east, died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

 

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Luther Blackwell and Ola Bell Jeanes Chadwick. She was a member of Donalds Baptist Church and was former owner and operator of Lou and Perry’s.

Surviving are two sons, Ray Hughes (Becky) of Ware Shoals and Barry Hughes (Janie) of Honea Path, seven daughters, Martha Lou Maddox of Belton, Susan Vaughn (Joey) of Donalds, Sharon Hughes of Belton, Ann Lay of Donalds, Linda Burton of Abbeville, Shirley Brock of Belton and Sharon Gail Raines (Jeremy) of Greenwood, a brother, Mansel Chadwick of Donalds, two sisters, Gladys Orvin of Simpsonville and Anna Miller of Anderson, eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, L.B. “Doc” Chadwick and Furman Gene Chadwick, and a sister, Willie Bell Chadwick.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Donalds Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Sturkie and Rev. Jerry Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
