Waterloo - Leonard Jerue Cothran, Jr., 63, husband of Ruby Boyter Cothran of 8900 Indian Mound Road died May 31, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Greenwood County a son of Leonard J., Sr. and Patsy Fortner Cothran of Ware Shoals.  He was formerly employed by Walmart Distribution Co.

Saint Petersburg, FL. - Mrs. Ola Mae Chapman, 91, of 109 34^th Avenue North, wife of William Harold Chapman, died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Pasadena Manor in Florida.

Honea Path – Joyce Diane Crawford Campbell, 60, wife of Tony Wayne Campbell, of 240 Erwin Mill Rd., died Friday, May 13, 2011 at her home.

Ware Shoals, S.C. John Haskell Pearman, 62, husband of Katherine Drexel Ackerson Pearman of 47 Saluda Ave. died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his home.

Anderson – Clyde M. Billow, 86, of 189 Asaville School Road, husband of Marilynn M. Billow, died Thursday, February 17, 2011at AnMed Health Center.

Belton – Mrs. Martha Brock McClain, 84, of 17824 Brown Ave. Ext., widow of Charlie Simpson McClain, went home to be with her savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, January 3, 2011.

Honea Path – Ruby Bell Pruitt, 86, passed away Saturday, October 9, at AnMed Heath Medical Center, in Anderson, SC.

 She was a life-long resident of Abbeville County, and retired from the Honea Path Shirt Plant. Ruby was the daughter of the late Mel Pruitt and Nancy Alewine Pruitt. She was predeceased by her only sibling, Max Pruitt in the year 2005. Ruby was a faithful and loyal servant of Broadmouth Baptist Church. She was a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School class, the church WMU, the church Choir and the Honey Bees Senior Group. She had just received a Perfect Attendance Certificate, for the past Sunday School year. She received numerous certificates though-out the years. Ruby is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a cousin, Peggy Clamp Wilson and her husband, Frank of Piedmont, SC. Surviving also, are numerous cousins of the Pruitt and Alewine families.

HONEA Path – Rev. Ansel Kay Gambrell, 86, formerly of 3 Roberts Street, husband of Sara Williams Gambrell, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Ivy Woods Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio.
