Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Pearl Smith Cheshire. She was a member of Honea Path Church of God and retired from Timkin.

 Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: two sons, Kevin Lamb of Anderson and Lee Lamb of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Lamb of the home; two brothers, Ronnie Cheshire and wife Diane of Ware Shoals and Charles Cheshire of Donalds, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers.

 Funeral services will be held Sunday July 15, 2012 at 2PM at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Shuler and Rev. Charlie Driggers officiating. Burial will be private.
