Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late William (Hack) Haskell and Edna Lollis Knight.  He was a member of the Honea Path Presbyterian Church, a retired construction worker, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are one son, Tony Knight and wife April of Belton, one brother, Wayne Knight of Honea Path, one sister, Betty Hughes of Georgetown, SC, and one grandchild, Madelon Knight.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday at 11 AM at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating.  The family will receive friends at 11:30 AM after the service at Pruitt Funeral Home.
