Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mae Vaughn Buzhardt. She was a member of Red Bank United Methodist Church of Lexington and a former member of Harmony United Methodist Church. She was a retired store manager for Conoco Oil Co. in West Columbia.
Surviving are a sister, Marion Terry of Atlanta, Ga., and three granddaughters, Deborah Clarke, Wanda Wilson, and Cynthia Learn, all of Lexington. She was pre-deceased by a son, John Howard Jones, a daughter, Sara Helen Jones Rowell, and three sisters, Dora Proctor, Lillian Balentine, and Ethel Smiley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Tina Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.
