Honea Path – Raymond Billy Long, 86, widower of Etrulia Ashley Long of 1601 Griffin Farm Rd. passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Southern Oaks Health and Rehab surrounded by his family. Born on June 4, 1930, he was a son of the late James Thomas and Ora Davis Long. Raymond was retired from Wamisetta and served 2 years in the Air Force. He was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for several years.

Ware Shoals – Walter Gerald Daniel, 73, of 8 New Street, died Monday, November 7, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Walter Leonard, Jr., and Hattie Dempsie Fisher Daniel. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a US Air Force Veteran. Gerald was a computer programming contractor.
Surviving are: three daughters, Angela (Greg) Grell of Honea Path, Carolyn (David) Nadeau of Fountain Inn, and Jennifer (Charlie) Pettry of Ware Shoals, his sister, Ann (Lucky) Romagnoli of Donalds, ten grandchildren, Chandra, Aaron, Jacob, Taylor, Austin, Trevor, Carley, Nathan, Erika, and Lukas, and his great-aunt, Carolyn Godfrey of Ware Shoals.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop and Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
