Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late William Robert Roy and Emma Lucille Greer McClellan. She was a member of the Honea Path Church of God, where she was president of the Ladies’ ministries for 16 years, taught the 11-14 year-old Sunday School class for 5 years, and delivered many bereavement meals. She was also a member of the Honea Path Rescue Squad Ladies’ Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son: James Carey Blair (LaDonna) of Anderson; one daughter: Cathy Janis Blair King of Honea Path; four brothers: Bobby McClellan (Peggy) of Clinton, Donnie McClellan of Ware Shoals, Tommy McClellan of Liberty, and Harry McClellan (Betty) of Ware Shoals; one sister: Peggy Williamson of Donalds; and two grandchildren: Cortney Amanda King and David Jarrett King.
Mrs. Blair is preceded in death by one brother: Jack McClellan.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Monday, February 6, 2017 at Honea Path Church of God with Rev. Eric Shuler, Rev. Boyd King and Rev. Charlie Driggers officiating. Burial will follow at M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans’ Cemetery.
