Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Ludie Alvin Jr., and Clara Thompson Weathers. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church and retired from Enoree Mills.
Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 42 years of the home are: two daughters, Melissa (John) Weathers of Greenville and Christy (Jerry) King of Lyman, her brother, Jimmy (Sherry) Weathers of Ware Shoals, her sister, Nancy (Billy) Seigler of McCormick, and six grandchildren, Briana and Hannah Boland, Aliza, Nicole, Tristan, and Abby Weathers.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jack Elders officiating.
