Belton – Linda Faye Cheshire Ashley, 65, wife of Melvin Glen Ashley, Jr., of Due West Hwy, died Thursday, August 25, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Teresa Ann (Cooley) Williamson passed away August 13,2022 at her daughters home in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born September 6,1952 to the late David and Peggy Cooley in Greenville, South Carolina. She grew up in the Honea Path area where she was known for her singing talent.

Ware Shoals – Sandra Hill “Sandy” Haygood, 57, of N. Greenwood Ave., wife of Brian James Haygood, died Friday, July 29, 2022 at her home.

Donalds – Viola Rebecca Ashley Kerr, 82, of Old Shoals Junction Road, wife of JD Kerr, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her home.

Ware Shoals – Our loved one,  Jack Devoe Tumblin, 87, passed away on July 25, 2022. He was a child of L. J. and Sara Ridgeway Tumblin. He honored his parents by continuing to live on family property with his wife of 58 years, Gloria Smith Tumblin. Jack’s great love for Gloria was evidenced by his willingness to take her to Dollar General, Family Dollar and Piggly Wiggly of Ware Shoals on a daily basis.
