Born in Chicago Heights, IL, he was a son of the late Frank and Frances Kramer Klauck. He was of the Lutheran Faith and was veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired electronic specialist having worked in Mannheim, Germany, Parris Island, and Quantico, VA. He was twice married, first to the late Thea Ruckdaeschel Klauck.
Surviving are his wife, Lynda, of the home, three sons, Frank Klauck ( Sandy) of Mokena, IL, Uwe Klauck (Cindy) of Greenwood, and Gunnar Klauk (Paula) of Beaufort, three step-sons, Victor DiTola (Marcela) of Ladson, Frank DiTola (Linda) of Cypress, IL, Michael DiTola (Jennifer) of Schererville, IN, two step-daughters, Lisa Hogan (Michael) of Naples, FL and Theresa Miazga of Moorehaven, FL, grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, , Daniel, James, John, Bjorn, Calum (Whitney), Ian, Zoe, Victor II (Natalie), Celina (Aaron), Christine, Casey, Jason, Dominic, Bella, Gia, Adam, Alex, Tony, Kyle, and Rhea, great-grandchildren, Myles Ava, Mila, Brent, Lily, Austin, Owen, Madison, and Ariani, Jessica, Alyssa, Kaylee, great-great-granddaughter, Skyler.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Frances, his first wife, Thea, a step-son, David Ditola, and a brother, Jack Klauck.
Memorial services at the Ware Shoals United Methodist Church will be announced by Parker-White Funeral Home, Ware Shoals. In leiu of flowers memorials should be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander St., Greenwood, SC 29646 or to the American Cancer Society at www.donate.cancer.org.
