Ware Shoals – Darlene Ross Ashley, widow of Jack Thomas Ashley, of 21 Walnut Street, died Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Honea Path – Patti Yvonne Bagwell Alewine, 60, wife of Frankie Alewine, of 204 Alewine Road died Friday, June 17, 2016 at her home.

Anderson – Alfred Perry Threlkeld, 71, husband of Gwendolyn Williamson Threlkeld of 3425 Wright School Road, died June 9, 2016 at his home.

Honea Path - Frances Ruth Wilson Shirley, age 90, wife of the late Jasper Nathan Shirley, passed away at her residence on June 8, 2016.

Waterloo – Patricia Ann Nabors Tyler, 64, wife of John Pressley Tyler, of 2041 Arnold Lane, died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at her home.

Honea Path - Ellie Lou Bagwell Simpson, 93, widow of William Haynie "Bill" Simpson, of 516 Friendship Church Rd., went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2016 at Heardmont Nursing Home in Elberton, GA.

Honea Path – David Samuel Holloway, 68, husband of Sue Jean Jones Holloway, of 240 Lester Ashley Rd, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his home.

Honea Path – Robert Dale Alewine, 62, of 102 Louisianna Street, husband of Wanda Darlene Lollis, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his home.

Born in Honea Path, he was a son of the late Oscar Lee and Dollie Standridge Alewine. He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Custom Home Specialties. He was twice married, first to the late Diane Lacount Alewine.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: a daughter, Amanda Dale Alewine (Tony Belt) of Inman, a brother, Rannie Jim Alewine of Pelzer, and a special nephew Kaleb Triana of Honea Path. He was predeceased by a brother, Eddie Lee Alewine and three sisters, Gladys Sisum, Janice Gambrell and Mary Ellen Lollis. He also leaves behind his two pet dogs, Buddy and Rosco.

Memorial services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Lynch officiating.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-3 P.M. prior to the service at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel.
