Belton – Minnie Lee McCoy McMahan, (MawMaw), 80, loving wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, entered the gates of heaven to be with our Lord and Savior on April 30, 2021 at her home in Belton surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born August 11, 1940. She approached her diagnosis with unbelievable strength and astounding faith.

Ware Shoals – Robert Joseph “Bug” Scarboro, 39, of Indian Mound Road, husband of Kayla Gaines Scarboro, died Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home.Born in Titusville FL, he was a son of the late Tommy G. Scarboro, Sr. and Elaine Bradshaw Edens of Ware Shoals. He attended West Main Street Church of God in Ware Shoals.

Belton – Ellis Ronald Ashley, 80, husband of Linda Joyce Wilson Ashley, of Brown Avenue Extension, died Monday, April 26, 2021 at Dominion Senior Living of Anderson.

Ware Shoals – Harold Morgan Vaughn, 77, husband of Delma Brooks Vaughn, of Maddox Bridge Road, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home.

Honea Path – Raymond Pearson Brewington, 90, widower of Betty Smith Brewington, of Golden Acres Drive, died Monday, April 26, 2021 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.

Honea Path – Prather Janice Bratcher Brock, 85, wife of Albert Charlie “A.C.” Brock, of Hwy 252, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Self Regional Medical Center.
