Ware Shoals – Bertha “Sally” Elizabeth Hodges Prill, 60, wife of Timothy Prill, of 8 Edgewood Dr., a loving mother, wife, and sister, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Belton – Mrs. Caroline Loretta Phillips Scott, 84, of 1316 Trail Road, widow of Joseph Hughs Scott, died Monday, June 3, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Honea Path – Benjamin Franklin “B.F.” Hopkins, 91, widower of Ella Ruth Johnson Hopkins, of 23 Beasley Dr., died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Exalted Heath and Rehab in Iva.

Sara Traynham

Ware Shoals, SC     Sara Bishop Traynham, 101 widow of J.T. Traynham died May 31, 2013 at NHC in Greenville, S.C.   She was born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late W.Edward and Lillie Taylor Bishop

She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church, WMU and the Woman’s Civic Club

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ed “Jane”Callaham , Greer, S.C , a granddaughter, Kellee Lehman and one great granddaughter, Jennifer Lehman

She was pre-deceased by her husband and daughter, Shirley Traynham: five brothers,Bill and Jake, Carl, Lonnie and Truman; and four sisters, Onie Lwton, Mollie Watson, Ann Ashmore, and Irene Darby.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 3, 2013 at Greenwood Memorial Mausoleum at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Leon Jones, Chaplin Ken Bogan and Rev. Dow Welsh.

Active pallbearers will be Scott Bishop, Lyman Golden, Mike Wade, Drayton Bishop, Ed Arnold, Paul Anderson and Joe Dority.

The family will receive friends after the service.   Memorials may be made to the Shirley Traynham Scholarship Fund, c/o The First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 449. Ware Shoals, S.C.
