Born in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Regina Yonkalski Phillips. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Elizabeth, NJ. She was a good mother, grandmother, housewife and dedicated officer for the Elizabeth, NJ Police Department where she retired after 35 years of service.
Surviving are: two daughters, Diane McAlister (Ray) of Belton; Nancy Stillwell (Richie) of Avenel, NJ; one sister, Laura Epolito of Cape Coral, Fl; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by two daughters, Barbara and Ann; one brother; and two sisters.
Services will be private. The family is at the home.
