Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Lowery Pressley and Frances Calvert Hodges. She was a member of the Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church and a graduate of Piedmont Tech having earned an Associate degree in Business Management.

Surviving are her husband of the home, two daughters, Margaret Prill Oxner and husband John of Ware Shoals, Laura Prill Wright and husband Keith of Ware Shoals, two brothers, Riegel Hodges and wife Dollie of Waterloo, and Ronnie Hodges and wife Shelia of Honea Path, a sister Maxine Davis and husband Ken of Ware Shoals, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday at Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Mac Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
