Honea Path – Clyde Larry Dukes, 82, husband of June Madden Dukes, of 6 Black Street, died Monday, October 24, 2016 at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Honea Path – Audrina Delores McDonald McJunkin, 88, widow of William “Bill” Dickard McJunkin, of 9 Devore Lane, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her home.

Belton – Parker Ownbey Peeples, 20, of 203 Carroll Lane passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at AnMed Health.

Hartwell – Billy Paul Robinson, 89, widower of Shirley Glenda Luker Robinson, of 261 Fairview Ave, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at his home.

Eastern “Buck” Davis

Honea Path – Eastern “Buck” Davis, 70, widower of Jessie Lee Brock Davis, of 7076 Hwy 20, died Friday, October 14, 2016 at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Geneva Davis. He attended Crossroads Fellowship Church and was a retired roofer.

Surviving are: his son, John Junior Davis of the home, two daughters, Jessie Ann (Matthew) Cole and Gloria Diane (Danny) Bordelon, all of Honea Path, his sister, Essie Marie Craft of Honea Path, four grandchildren, Jennifer Jessie Mae (Blake) Rogers, Tamara Lynn Cole, John Allen Davis, and Amanda Pearl Bordelon, and three great-grandchildren, Christopher James ‘CJ” Rogers, Cameron Blake Rogers and Weston Allen Davis.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, Calhoun Davis and John Davis, and a granddaughter, Pamela Nicole Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Crossroads Fellowship Church with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.

Donalds – Doris Bratcher Smith, 87, wife of 59 years of Roy Jack Smith died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her home.

Honea Path - James Howard Scott, 88, husband of Gloria Robinson Edwards Scott, of The Maples, died on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson after a 5 year battle with cancer.

Iva - Wallace Kyle Scott, 75, husband of Melody Blondell Scott, of 320 North Rd., Iva, died Monday, October 11, 2016 at Abbeville Nursing Home.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Goss and Helen Hill Scott. He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Iva, and was former director of the Abbeville County Employment and Security Commission, retired after over 25 years. He served in the Abbeville unit of the South Carolina National Guard. He was a graduate of Anderson College, served on the Development board of Abbeville County, and was instrumental in helping many gain employment over the years.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are one son: Kyle Scott of Iva; one daughter: Janet King (Marty) of Simpsonville; one step-son: Tommy Ethridge of Lavonia, GA; one sister: Kathy Strawhorn (Charles) of Honea Path; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Mike McMillan officiating. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 PM at the church, prior to the service.
