Honea Path – Eastern “Buck” Davis, 70, widower of Jessie Lee Brock Davis, of 7076 Hwy 20, died Friday, October 14, 2016 at his home.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Geneva Davis. He attended Crossroads Fellowship Church and was a retired roofer.
Surviving are: his son, John Junior Davis of the home, two daughters, Jessie Ann (Matthew) Cole and Gloria Diane (Danny) Bordelon, all of Honea Path, his sister, Essie Marie Craft of Honea Path, four grandchildren, Jennifer Jessie Mae (Blake) Rogers, Tamara Lynn Cole, John Allen Davis, and Amanda Pearl Bordelon, and three great-grandchildren, Christopher James ‘CJ” Rogers, Cameron Blake Rogers and Weston Allen Davis.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, Calhoun Davis and John Davis, and a granddaughter, Pamela Nicole Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Crossroads Fellowship Church with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
