Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of Jack ODell and Nellie Roseanne Cannon Gambrell. He was of the Church of God faith and worked at Solvay, Inc.
Surviving are:his parents of Honea Path, a son, Cade Gambrell of Belton, a daughter, Kinsley Breeann Gambrell of Belton, and two sisters, Sue Ross and Sherry Gorman, both of Honea Path.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Ray Lollis officiating. Burial will follow in Broadmouth Baptist Church Cemetery.
