Belton - Thomas (Tommy) Cecil Wallace, II, passed away December 28, 2023 at the age of 69.

Ware Shoals – Pamela “Pam” Gayle Loggins Vermillion, 48, of Hwy 252, died Sunday, December 24, 2023 at her home.

Greenwood – Dennis Dewitt Mahon, 72, of Eagle Trace Drive, died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Anderson – Nolan Ryan Scott, 47, husband of Candice Elizabeth Meeks Scott, of Honey Creek Road, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Tammie Renee Brock Ashley, 57, wife of Ronald Waymon Ashley of 201 Henry Drive died Monday, December 25, 2023 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Ware Shoals – Frank Moore Cooper, Jr., 70, husband of Susan Elaine Saxon Cooper, of Indian Mound Road, died Sunday, December 24, 2023 at NHC – Laurens.

Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of the late Frank Moore, Sr., and Ada Henderson Cooper. He retired from Daniel Construction and was the former co-owner of Chapman and Cooper Cabinet Shop in Waterloo.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 49 years of the home are: two daughters, Cayla (Cody) Quinn of Ware Shoals and Cristi Hawkins of Waterloo; two sisters, Gail Smith and Karen LaRoche both of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Lacey Hawkins, Amber Hawkins, Jacob Baldwin, Colby Quinn, Brady Quinn and Cayleigh Quinn; one great-grandchild, Ryder Trotter; and several special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Mt Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of his daughter, Cayla, 263 Pine Wood Dr. Ware Shoals and will receive friends from 12noon – 2 P.M. Thursday at the church prior to the service. Ware Shoals – Aubrey Della Haynes, 80, formerly of Ware Shoals, widower of Roy Aiken Haynes, died Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Honea Path – John William Knox, 85, widower of Felicia Linda Knox, of Hwy 252, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Lindley Park Post Acute.
