Hilda O’Dell Noland

Waterloo – Hilda Lee O’Dell Noland, 95, formerly of Riverfork Road, made her transition from her earthly body being escorted by angels to the portals of Glory to forever live with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on  Monday, February 17, 2025.

Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Arthur H. and Sallie Mae Brissey O’Dell. She was a member and former choir director and Sunday School teacher at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. She lived her life placing God first, others second, and then herself. A prayer warrior, she loved the Lord and enjoyed reading his word. Hilda fought the good fight and finished her course being faithful until the end.  She was a 1946 graduate of Ware Shoals High School and had attended Piedmont Tech. She was employed by Riegel Textile Co. of Ware Shoals and The Kemit Co. of Greenwood. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, and working in her flower garden. She was always a dog lover.

Surviving are a son Russell Noland, two daughters, Deborah Madden (Ken) and Robin Seigler (Steve), and three grandchildren, Michelle Fricks, Noland Seigler (Brenda) and Erin Seigler (Ben), six great-grandchildren, Dalton Madden (Jessica), Daniti and Jaden Fricks, Trey Madden, Sofia and Finan Seigler.

She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Edwin and Henry O’Dell, a sister, Lena Belle Day, and a grandson Travis Madden.
