Honea Path - Venice Shaw Smith, 88, widow of Homer Smith, of 509 Brickmill Rd., died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her home.

Honea Path – Sara Motes Rice, 89, of 109 Elizabeth St., widow of John Thomas Rice died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Ellenburg Nursing Home.

Honea Path – Jacalyn Renee (Jackie) Branyon, 55 of 335 Ervin Street died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson County she was the  daughter of Edna Ruth Rowland Branyon and the late Jack Ashley Branyon. She was a member of Keowee Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Belton Chapter #105. She was formerly employed by Belks of Honea Path and Anderson.

Surviving are her mother of Honea Path, and her brother, Ronnie Branyon and wife Cheryll of Honea Path.

Memorial services will be held 6 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Moody officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. The family is at the home.
