Donnie “Hambone” Gambrell

Honea Path – Donnie “Hambone” Paschal Gambrell, 64, husband of Judy Ann Norris Gambrell, of 59 Morrison Rd., died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Riley Paschal and Rose Ella Hall Gambrell. He was retired from his work as a brickmason, and was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church. He loved racing.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are one sister: Patsy Jane McClain (Sammy) of Honea Path; 5 special nephews: Danny Mitchell, Kelly Mitchell, Nathan McClain, Rusty Davis and Casey Ashley; and two special friends: Marion Gambrell and Jane McGaha.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Crossroads Fellowship Church with Rev. Paul Cooper and Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
