Donalds – Robert “Bobby” Bryson Nickles, 95, widower of Barbara Ann Clement Nickles, of Nickles Street, died Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his home.

Honea Path – Thelma Eugenia Lindley Canada, 93, widow of Roy Efford Canada, of Poplar Drive, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at Lindley Park Rehab and Healthcare Center.

Honea Path – Noah Leon Garrett, 90, widower of Leatrice Epps Garrett, of Leon Drive, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Belton – Gladys Lee Smith Hall, 93, widow of Rufus Sanford Hall, formerly of Briarwood Drive, Belton and The Maples, Honea Path, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Honea Path – Randy Gene Ashley, 60, of Eastview Street, was called home by his Lord and Savior, Friday, June 3, 2022 in Myrtle Beach.

Honea Path – Linda Rosemary McEntyre, 76, wife of Donald “Donnie” Ray McEntyre, of Pinetree Drive, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Hosea Evans and Violet Loudermilk Madden. She was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Linda worked many years in the Scouting program on both the local and District level.

Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 57 years of the home are: three sons, Tracy McEntyre, Shawn McEntyre, and Brandon McEntyre; a sister, June Dukes; a granddaughter, Danielle (Candace) Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McEntyre was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Doris Massey.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Austin Road Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Monday at the church prior to the service. Honea Path – James William Strawhorn, 96, husband of Dorothy Eileen Kirby Strawhorn, of Princeton Hwy, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Belton – Patsy Louise Dutton Freeman, 73, widow of Danny Leon “Scatter” Freeman, of Trail Road, died Saturday, April 30, 2022 at her home.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of Mary Smith Dutton, and the late Sammy Dutton. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Ware Shoals are: her daughter, Sonya Diane Freeman; a grandson, raised in the home as a son, Justin (Kaley) Freeman; six brothers, Sammy Dutton, Raymond Dutton, Dennis Dutton, Kenny Dutton, Robert Dutton and Jeffery Dutton; four sisters, Judy Suttle, Mary Jane Coleman, Shelia Powell, and Debra Dutton; two grandchildren, Jay (Crystal) Winstead and Jala (Thomas) Brown; and five great-grandchildren, Chaley Freeman, Brian Freeman, Mason Winstead, Michael Winstead, and Nora Brown.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband; two sons, Brian Lee Freeman and Danny Christopher Freeman; and a sister, Nancy Dutton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Tim Edmonds and Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating.
