Honea Path – James Anderson Kelley, 98, widower of Mildred Dalton Kelley, of W. Hampton Ave., died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at his home.

Donalds – Charles Ray Humphries, 78, of Donalds died Friday, October 22, 2021 at St. Francis Downtown Hospital in Greenville.

Honea Path – Delores Frances Coleman Richey, 76, widow of William “Freck” Thomas Richey, of Pinson Drive, died Friday, October 22, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Gaston – Myra Anne Pruitt Salas, 63, wife of Ruben R. Salas, of Roundtree Drive, died Saturday, October 16, 2021 at her home.

Greenwood – Deborah Ann Vasas Jones, 61, widow of Jack Pelham Jones, Jr., of Marietta Drive, died Monday, October 18, 2021 at Self Regional Medical Center.

COL Richard G. Chapman, Jr., was born in Greer, SC, on 25 October 1937.  He died in Tucson, AZ on 18 January 2020.  He is survived by his wife, Georgia, brother, Bruce (Rene), children Abby (Chris), Pam, and Rob (Jerra); 5 grandchildren, & 7 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald, his father, Richard, and his mother, Mary. 

Larry Eugene Fleming, 86, widower of Cynthia Campbell Branyon Fleming of Honea Path, a long time resident of the Keowee community, died Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his home.

Belton – Dorothy “Dot” Drusilla Phillips, 86, of 1013 Barkers Creek Road, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Arlue Page and Emma Thomas Phillips. She was a member of the Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from Monsanto of Greenwood.

Surviving are four sisters, Lois Burdette of Belton, Carolyn Woodson of Anderson, Clara Jordan of Honea Path, and Rebecca Phillips of Belton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dot was preceded in death by a brother Charles Phillips, four sisters, Mildred Thompson, Nancy Green, Troyce Tollison, and Myrtle Phillips, and a special niece, Melissa Baker.

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, October 18, 2021 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Shane Elrod officiating.
