Honea Path – Carl Wilbur Holt, 79, husband of Karen Sue Wells Holt, of 11 N. Anderson Street, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at AnMed Health Center.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa. he was a son of the late Howard Hatfield Holt and Erma Audrey Schmidt Holt. He was a member of the Honea Path First Baptist Church and was a retired contractor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean War and a member of Centre Lodge #37 A.F.M. and was a private pilot.

Surviving are his wife of the home, a son, Ryan Lee Simmons of Greenville, three daughters, Tammy Antemesaris(Chris) of Winter Haven, Fl., Melanie Hahn (Jon) of Honea Path, and Ronda Leigh Lowe(Craig) of Winter Haven, Fl., a brother Howard Hatfield Holt, Jr. of Pensylvania, three grandchildren, Atticus Antemesairs, Logan Hahn, and Jonathan Hahn, and one great granddaughter, Ava Layne Hahn.
