Ninety Six – Virginia Jennie Sue Finley, 77, of 107 Banks St. died August 1, 2011 at her home. 

Donalds - William Clifton “Bill” Williamson, 71 husband of Peggy McClellan Williamson of 160 Kirkpatrick Rd. died July 30, 2011 at his home.  He was born in Abbeville County, a son of the late Marvin Lamar and Gladys Medlock Williamson. He was a member of Ware Shoals First Presbyterian Church and Woodman of the World. He was a US Army veteran and was a retired self employed brick mason. 

Ware Shoals- Clarence Dunn Oulla, 71, husband of Dorothy Fisher Oulla of 23 Frederick Road died Thursday July 28, 2011 at his home.

Hodges-Milleree Mims Lamb, 78, widow of Clyde Lamb, of 2301 Nation Road  died Monday July 25, 2011 at Hospice of the Piedmont.

Honea Path – Laura Helen Walker, 84, of 107 Virginia Ave., died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Rainey Hospice House.

Donalds-Toni Elizabeth Collins Brown, 30 of 813 Greenville Church Road, died Monday at her home.

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of Dannie Collins and the late Catherine Elaine Turner Collins. She attended Laurens Church of God.

Surviving are her father; Dannie Collins of Donalds, stepmother; Sherry Gambrell  Collins of Donalds, one son, Nathaniel Allen Brown of the home, one daughter; Catherine Alisha Brown of the home, one sister; Tracy Craine of Gray Court, one step-brother; Jason Prince of Fountain Inn, two nephews; Bryan and Brandon Craine, one niece; Mackenzie Craine, and  a special friend; Aaron Rittmaier of the home.

Services will be Friday at 3:00 PM at  Laurens Church of God with  Rev. Ossie Deese and Bishop Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 2-3 PM.at  Laurens Church of God prior to the service. The family is at the home. Honea Path- Jerry Edward Taylor, 84, of 5 Virginia Avenue, husband of Eunice Corinne Timms Taylor died Saturday at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Jessie Lee and Irma Sharpe Taylor. He was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church, a mason, a shriner, member of Honea Path Town Council, and an active member of the Red Men of America, and was retired from Duke Power Company.

Surviving are his wife of the home, a son, Lee Taylor and wife Donna of Honea Path, and a grandson, Cullen Taylor of Honea Path.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

Donalds – Ruby Inez “Sis” Beasley Clinkscales, 79, widow of Perry Carlton Clinkscales, formerly of 138 W. Main St., died Saturday at Abbeville Nursing Home.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late William Joseph and Mary Agnes Beasley. She was a member of Donalds Baptist Church and was retired from Huggins Garment Co.

Surviving are a son, Robert Clinkscales and wife Miriam of Abbeville, a brother, Floyd Beasley and wife Eula of Donalds, a sister, Judy Mitchell and husband Jerry of Donalds, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Charles Randall Clinkscales, daughter, Sandra Marie Clinkscales, four brothers, William Otis, Horace, James Ray and Albert Beasley and three sisters, Frances Beasley, Katherine Widner and Ola Mae Chapman.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday at Donalds Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Sturkie and Rev. Ruel Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Ware Shoals – Rickey Dale Simmons, 47, of 601 Sligh Rd., died Thursday, July 15, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Denver, Co., he was a son of the late Dale and Betty Tinsley Simmons. He attended Bethlehem Union Church and was a graduate of Ware Shoals High and Lander College. He was a CPA formerly employed by M&M Accounting.
