Helen Elizabeth Simpson Cook, 77, widow of Robert Lee Cook, Sr., died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.
Born in Richland County; she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Thomas and Ruby Ruth White Simpson.
She is survived by two sons: Robert Lee Cook, Jr. of Honea Path, and Skeeter Cook of Ware Shoals; and two daughters, Nina Ruth Williams of Rock Hill, and Barbara Elizabeth Kruse of Cottageville; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 AM at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home.
