SADIE RIDGEWAY

Sadie Mildred Lindley Ridgeway, 90, widow of Furman Ridgeway died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Magnolia Manor. She was born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Reuben and Celia McCoy Lindley. She and her husband had operated Furman’s Cleaners before retirement. Mrs. Ridgeway was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are: one son, Bobby Ridgeway (Joyce) of Donalds, one daughter, Celia Hubbard (Lewis) of Anderson and one sister, Eva McNeil Johnson of Ware Shoals; grandchildren: Ray (Pat) Hubbard, Steve (Kelly) Hubbard and Russell Hubbard all of Anderson, Bob(Lisa) Ridgeway of Blythewood, Martin (Julie) Ridgeway of Greenwood, Angela (Chip) O’Dell of Greenwood, Beth (Ben) Richey of Fayetville, Ga., eleven greatgrandchildren, son-in-law Buddy Ridge of Greenwood. She was predeceased by a daughter; Mildred Ridge and brothers, Roy, Marvin, Troy, Dude, Ed and R.S. and sisters, Ethel Maness and Helen Mattison

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, 3 pm at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Hans Wunch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Grandsons and Grandsons-in-law will serve as active pallbearers.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Church Saturday 1-3 pm. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 420, Ware Shoals, S.C. 29692.
