Edna Woods

Donalds – Edna Catherine Beasley Woods, 91, widow of Herbert Rudolph Woods, of 1737 Willie Kay Rd. died Monday, February 01, 2010 at NHC of Anderson.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Beasley. She was a member of Donalds Baptist Church and was retired from Honea Path Shirtmakers.

Surviving are a sister, Sarah B. Ashley of Donalds and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3 PM Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Sturkie officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 3 PM Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service. The family is at the home of her nephew, Jimmy Ashley, 1781 Willie Kay Rd., Donalds.
