Betty P. Turner
Betty Partee Turner, 85, widow of Harry A. Turner died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Self Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Westminster, S.C., a daughter of the late Hoyt and Genevieve Finley Partee and was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Mrs. Turner was a nurse at Self Memorial Medical Center before her retirement.
Surviving are: one son, Harry Allen Turner, N. Myrtle Beach, five daughters; Aubrey T.Guy, Huntsville, Ala., Allison T. Walters and husband, Ronnie of Charleston, Boots T. Babb and husband, Tim, Greenwood, Beth T. Patterson, Greenwood, Dottie T. Blankenship and husband, Alan, Lancaster, S.C., one brother, Pete Partee, Greenville,
Two sisters, Jimmye Ruth Thompson, and Sarepta Ann Wilson both of Greenville, fourteen grandchildren, Erin Gladstone, Harmon Turner, Anna Fultz, Debbie Counts, Laura Tucker, Turner Walters, Taylor Walters, John Thomas Walters, Sheena Babb, Whitney Patterson, Grayson Patterson, Samantha Blankenship, Anna Blankenship, Katie Blankenship and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 2 pm at Main St. United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at 4 pm in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, S.C.
The family will be at the home of Beth Patterson, 703 Nelson St. Greenwood and will receive friends in the Social Hall, Main St United Methodist Church , 12 to 1:30 pm.
