Roy Manley

Ware Shoals – Roy Bradley Manley, 54, of 653 Walker Road, husband of Sandra Haverkorn Manley, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at Hospice of Laurens.

Born in Anderson county, he was a son of the late Leroy and Doris Ballard Manley. He was a self employed contractor and attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Surviving are his wife of the home, three sons; Justin B. Manley of Belton, Jason Roy Manley of Honea Path and Ken Hawkins of Jacksonville, Fl., two daughters; Michele Wallace of Greer and Marsha Pittman of Huger, SC., one brother; Ray Manley of Hodges, three sisters; Dorothy Byington of Anderson, Louise Taylor and Elelyn Hopkins both of Ware Shoals, six grandchildren; Abigail Hope Manley. Hunter Eli Manley, Justin Calhoun, Ashleigh Hawthorne, Shilah Pittman and Samantha Pittman.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Smith and Rev. Dan Compton officiating. Burial will follow in Ware Shoals Cemetery.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 7-9 PM Wednesday at Parker-White Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1 PM Thursday. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
