Toni Strickland

Ware Shoals – Toni Sue South Strickland, 66, of 11 Stadium Drive died Friday, December 25, 2009 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.

Born in Hodges she was a daughter of the late Edward and Christine Haygood South. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church and was retired from Futura Mfg. Co.

Surviving are two daughters, Angela Davenport and husband Ronald and Pamela Wagner and husband Tim both of Ware Shoals, two brothers, Jerry South of Hodges and Rickey South of Ware Shoals, a sister, Brenda Strange of Hodges, four grandchildren, Melissa Crain, Jon Lindley, Jena James, and Ethan Wagner, and five great-grandchildren, Jessica Crain, Katelyn and Austin Sondles, Steven Avery, and Madyson James.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leon Jones officiating.
