George Rothrock

Ware Shoals � George Brunson Rothrock, Sr., 96, widower of Gladys White Rothrock, formerly of South Greenwood Ave. died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at White Oak Manor in Spartanburg.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late William Thomas and Pauline George Rothrock. He was a member of the Ware Shoals United Methodist Church, the Ware Shoals Masonic Lodge # 263, and the Boyd Bobo Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a retired Funeral Director and former owner of Lilly�s Florist in Ware Shoals.

Surviving are a brother, David Benton Rothrock of Spartanburg and three grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a son, George Brunson Rothrock, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Tina Thomas officiating.
