Clayton Prince

Donalds – William Clayton Prince, 72, husband of the late Jane Johnson Prince, of 38 Chickasaw Lane, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Self Regional Healthcare Center.

Born in Abbeville County he was a son of the late William Lonzo and Nola Marion Gambrell Prince. He was a member of Winona Baptist Church and was retired from Flour Daniel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean War.

Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly Finley of Donalds, two brothers, Dan Prince and Joe Prince, both of Donalds, a sister Mrs. Sudie Cooper of Ware Shoals, and two grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a son, William Michael Prince, and a sister, Lucille Vinson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at Winona Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path. The body will be placed in the church at 1 PM Saturday. The family is at the home of his daughter, Kimberly Finley, 791 Willie Kay Rd., Donalds. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
