Mike Hughes

Honea Path – Mike Hughes, 74, husband of Barbra Ann Murphy Hughes, of 2 Pine St., died Sunday, November 08, 2009 at AnMed Health Center in Anderson.

Born in Donalds, he was a son of the late Walter Ellis and Ruth Eugenia Hughes. He was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church and was retired from Springs Industries, Abbeville Plant.

Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons, Mike Hughes of Columbia and Ben Hughes and wife Beth of Belton, a sister, Betty Mitchell of Honea Path, and two grandchildren, Benjamin Bolt Hughes and Kathryn Hughes both of Honea Path. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Pat Hughes.

Graveside Services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Mike Moody officiating
