Lloyd S. Quarles


Lloyd Sylvester Quarles, 81, widower of Beulah Mae Lemaster Quarles, of Shoals Junction died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at his home. He was born in Walhalla, a son of the late Robert Sylvester and Nancy Della Long Quarles.

He was retired and had owned and operated his own saw mill.

He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Myers and husband, Doug, Honea Path; three sons, Danny Ray Quarles, Anderson, Wayne Quarles and wife, Barbara, Shoals Junction, Kyle Quarles and wife, Ashley, Shoals Junction, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He is also survived by three brothers, four sisters and a very special friend, Betty Porter, Greenwood.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 5th, 1 pm at Parker-White Funeral Home by Rev. Mark Lowe. Burial will be at 3pm, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg SC.

The family will be at the home of Wayne Quarles, 326 Cal Robinson Rd and will receive friends at Parker-White Funeral Home 12 to 1 pm Thursday.
