Caroleen Wright

Honea Path – Mrs. Caroleen Hanks Wright, 84, formerly of 1011 Paige Road, widow of the late Millard Babb Wright, died Friday, October 2, 2009 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Cliff and Lessie Saylors Hanks. She was a life long member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors are: one daughter, Peggy Burdette; one brother W. Grady Hanks; one grandson Jeff Burdette and wife Luana; and four great-grandchildren. All survivors are from Honea Path. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Stephen R. Burdette; two sisters, Doris Drennon and Evelyn McKinney; and a granddaughter, Holley Burdette.

Funeral Services will be held 4 PM Sunday
at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Barkers Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
