HERBERT VAUGHN


Herbert Vaughn, 87, widower of Pearl Elledge Vaughn died September 26,2009. He was a son of the late Murphy Vaughn and Cleo Smith Vaughn Thompson of Greenville County. He was retired from Riegel Textile Corp. and a member of Princeton Baptist Church.

Surviving are a brother, Beauford Vaughn, Greenville, sister Linda Ross, Pelzer, two step daughters, Mary Ann Babb and Becky Arnett , Ware Shoals, five step sons, Robert Lewis Elledge, Walter Conway Elledge both of Ware Shoals, J.Edward Elledge, Simpsonville, Ben Elledge Rayford, North Carolina and Joseph David Elledge, Honea Path

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, 2 pm. at Princeton Baptist Church with Rev. Gregg Loner, Rev. Lamar Babb and Rev. Billy Cathcart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Joe Fisher, Jimmy Weathers, W.S. Roach., Josh, Jonathan and Joe Babb.
The families are at their respective homes and will receive friends at Princeton Baptist Church Wednesday, 1-2 pm.
