Barbara J. Nunnery

Greenville – Mrs. Barbara Ann Jones Nunnery, 76, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at her home in Honea Path following a sudden period of declining health.

Mrs. Nunnery was a loving wife and caring mother. She held a career in bookkeeping and worked alongside her husband at Nunnery’s Accounting Service for about 18 years.

Born in Greenville, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Marvoureen Stevens and William Stanley Jones. Preceding her in death were her husband of 40 years, David Andrew Nunnery, Sr., a sister, Carolyn Jones Smith, and a brother William Stanley Jones, Jr.

Surviving are a son, David Andrew Nunnery, Jr. of Greenville, and daughters, Judy Mott and husband William of Honea Path and Tina Harper and husband Richard of Huntersville, NC. She has five grandsons who loved her very much.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a 10:00 a.m. service at the Honea Path First Baptist Church, 100 S. Main St., Honea Path, SC on Thursday, Sept. 17th, 2009. Following the church service the family will proceed to the graveside service at 12 Noon at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC, Section Q.
