Honea Path- Gladys Ruth “Boots” Crawford Bell, 75, widow of Eugene Haywood Bell Sr., of 4045 Hwy 252, died Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Anderson County she was a daughter of the late Grady S. and Ola Bell Robinson Crawford. She was a member of Honea Path Church of God where she taught Sunday School most of her life, and retired form Chiquola Manufacturing Co.

Surviving are a son, Gene Bell and Wife Paula of Donalds, a daughter, Karen Bell, four grandchildren, Drey, Jacob, Jadae Rae, and Joel Holloway, one sister, Florence McGaha all of Honea Path. She was predeceased by two sisters, Pauline Brock and Ola Mae Crawford.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Honea Path Church of God with Rev. Eric Shuler, Rev. George Cooper, and Rev. Charlie Driggers officiating. Burial will follow in the garden of memories.

The family is at the home of the son, Gene, 6678 Hwy 252 Donalds and will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday night.
