SAMMIE KAY BROCK

Sammie Kay Brock, 61 husband of Mary Hall Brock of 12055 Hwy. 25 N. died at his home July 15, 2009. He was born in Abbeville County, a son of the late Walter and Myrtle Brock and was retired from Solutia. Mr. Brock was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving besides his wife and great grandchild, Anastasia” Little Red” of the home are two sons, Ray Brock, Texas, Jonathon Troy Brock, Georgia, one step son, Tony Kennedy, Ware Shoals: also, one daughter, Jeanne Brock, Honea Path and two step-daughters, Rose Crawford and Patricia Boyce both of Ware Shoals, one sister, Judy Smith, Donalds, twenty one grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 2 pm at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Ostrom officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
