W. ROGER PETTY, SR.

William Roger Petty, Sr., 51, husband of Patricia Brewington Petty of 344 Adams Drive died May 22, 2009 at Laurens District Hospital. He was born in Spartanburg County, a son of the late Monroe and Agnes Fowler Petty. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving besides his wife of the home are: one son, William Roger Petty, Jr. of the home; one daughter, Samantha and husband Gabrian Padgett, Spartanburg; five sisters, Diane Lambert and Sandy Georgeson both of Inman, Kathy Dunagin, Cowpens, Vickie Allen and Shannon Fletcher, both of Spartanburg. Also several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be Monday at 11 am at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Frank McCoy will officiate.

The family is at 73 Adams Drive and will receive friends Sunday 6-8 pm at Parker-White Funeral Home.
