Larry Jordan Cothran, 56 of 2 Holloway Drive, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at his home. He was born in Greenwood County, a son of the late Alfred Elwood Cothran and Christine Madden Cothran, Ware Shoals. He was a member of West Main Church of God and was a long time Little League Baseball Coach.

Surviving is his wife of the home, Elizabeth Cooper Cothran, two step-daughters, Tracy Falkingham , Laurens, and Amy Pille, Charleston, S.C.: a sister, Beverly Cothran Norwood, Ware Shoals, two step-grandchildren, Leila Dodson, and Josie Gambrell both of Laurens .

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Susan Gayle Cothran.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 2 pm at the Mausoleum Chapel at Oakbrook Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Dr. J. Charles Smith.
