Honea Path – Gregory Earl Holder, 49, husband of Rhetta Stone Holder, of 708 N. Main St. died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Pittsboro N.C., he was the son of Hilda Speagle Holder and the late Billy Earl Holder. He was employed with Superior Engineering of Anderson.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and mother of Staley, N.C., are: one son, Charles Earl Holder and wife Emily of Honea Path; one stepson, Steven Bradley Thompson and wife Heather of Charleston; one sister, Sandy Johnson of Staley, N.C., and one granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth Holder of Honea Path.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 4:30 P.M. at The Garden of Memories with the Rev. Deborah Broadwell officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-4 P.M. at Pruitt Funeral Home.
