Juanita Poore Malone, 86, of 30 Sparks Ave, wife of James D. “Jamer” Malone died Sunday April 12 at the home of a daughter in Greenwood. She was born in Anderson Co. a daughter of the late Henry L. and Annie Chasteen Poore and was retired from the Oxford Mfg. Co. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Boyd Bobo Chapter 142, a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class.

Surviving are four daughters Vickie Rushton and husband Bob of Greenwood, Susan Gault and husband Bob of Bakersville NC, Wanda Melton and husband Carl of Waterloo, and Phoebe Miller and husband Jeff of Greer. A sister Katherine Gambrell of Ware Shoals. Three Grandchildren Jennifer Lindley, Jamie Davis, and Travis O’Dell. Two Great Grandchildren Will and Karlie Lindley.

Funeral Services 3pm Tuesday at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Marcus, David and Billy Poore, Billy Gambrell, Joe McCall and Wade Malone. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class along with Billy Hudgens, Ed Arnold and Marion Carnell.
