Richard Neal

Honea Path – Richard Lee Neal, Sr., 64, of 16 Beacham St., died Wednesday, April 8, 2009.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Obby Claymond and Annie Mae Harter Neal. He was of the Protestant Faith and was employed by Fields Painting.

Surviving are a son, Richard Lee Neal, Jr. of Belton; a daughter Angie Shaw of Anderson; two sisters, Frances Vaughn of Honea Path and Florence Owens of Belton and one grandchild. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Odell and Claymond Neal and three sisters, Blanche Gilmer, Irene Heck, and Shirley Tessneer.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. John Christmas officiating. The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to the Richard Neal Fund, Box 266, Honea Path, SC 29654. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
